Greetings and a warm welcome! Thank you for your interest in this website and the work that I do in SAM*INK®.  Toxic chemicals in our environment threaten our rivers and lakes, our air, land, and oceans, and ultimately ourselves and our future.  We believe that manufacturers of electronic goods, who have benefited from sales of their products, should take responsibility for them from production through to the end of their lives. To prevent an e-waste crisis, manufacturers must design clean electronics with longer lifespan, that are safe and easy to recycle and will not expose workers and the environment to hazardous chemicals.  In this respect, we help the environment and help customers save money with recycled and refillable ink cartridges.

You know, 500 million non biodegradable plastic cartridges get buried into landfills every year. 500 cartridges are thrown away every second!  We can never stop them from entering the landfills but we can Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.  Yes, we really can. I humbly offer refillable ECO-cartridges and continuous bulk ink systems.  Yes, I do agree that they do not have ink-level sensing yet, but you only need to refill once a day, and remembering to refill is like brushing your teeth every morning...like making your first cup of coffee in the office.  They have stopped many cartridges from going into landfills since 2001.  You will still get consistent and colorful photo quality prints up to 1440 dpi.

Inkjet cartridges dumped in land fill sites release harmful toxins and chemicals into the earth whilst also taking 1000’s of year to degrade.  The alternative is incineration - which pollutes the environment by releasing the toxins directly into the air as well as increasing carbon emissions, as the cartridges are burnt.  New study proves it: Carbon footprint of recycled, remanufactured, or refilled cartridge is 45-60% lower than new cartridge !

Refilling kits or refillable ink cartridges are a type of recycling in a sense.  You are not purchasing a new cartridge, rather, just  the ink that goes inside of it.  When you run out of ink, you can order a refill kit, which contains instructions and the ink itself.  You'll simply refill the empty cartridge in your own home or office.  You save money and again, conserve the environment.  You are helping to reduce your carbon foot print.  Every cartridge refilled is one fewer going to a landfill site; it is also one less cartridge that needs to be produced, saving our planet's precious natural resources.
